- 1-2-2-1 pattern
If a 1-2-2-1 pattern comes as in figure below, mines will be at the boxes just below 2s and two boxes will be empty on each side.
- 1-1-1 corner pattern
If a 1-1-1 pattern occurs at the corner, the third box from the corner will be empty.
